New “Harvest” Video Released
The newest in a series of videos from the Southwestern Commission along with with the Mountain West Partnership is now available to view online. This film grew out of the Rural Food Business Assistance Project, which ran a series of community meetings in small towns across WNC last year and also provided over $20,000 worth of scholarships to over 80 local food businesses in the region. That project aimed to both capture a snapshot of what was happening in the local food scene across WNC’s western counties, and also connect farmers and food businesses with their local Small Business Centers to ensure that they could grow and prosper.
