WCU Selects Executive Director for Community & Economic Engagement & Innovation
Western Carolina University has selected Arthur Salido as the new Executive Director for Community and Economic Engagement and Innovation, a position that oversees WCU’s community, economic, and innovation outreach efforts. Salido, who is currently serving as Associate Professor of Chemistry and Director of WCU’s bid for reaccreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, has been a resident of Western NC for over a decade, and he joined WCU faculty in 2006.
The appointment is effective May 15, 2017.
